Team STIHL's Tom Dropik and Remi head east to the 2011 DockDogs National Championship

The Edward Jones Dome in down town St. Louis, MO, home of the NFL's St. Louis Rams, hosted 5 days of outdoor fun. Avid outdoorsman, Families, and folks just looking for fun ways to enjoy themselves came from across the state of MO to enjoy this yearly event. And as always, Dockdogs was main attraction where high flying dogs from across the country came to test their skills after a long winter break. And Team STIHLs Tom Dropik and his World Champion Star Athlete Remi were their to take on any challengers that dared to take them down.

Team STIHLs Tom Dropik, a Dog Trainer and Founder of SportMutt, an organization dedicated to improving canine performance through education, and Remi are well rested after a long winter break. After a Huge win at the 2011 DockDogs World Championships where they were crowned 2011 World Champions in Speed Retrieve, and a Huge win at the 2011 DockDogs National Championship where they were crowned the 2011 National Champions in Speed Retrieve, they were ready take to the dock in St. Louis and take on any challengers willing to test their Power and Speed.

A packed house of spectators were on hand to watch as Remi take on many well known challengers, including the current world record holder Jordan. Remi never faltered, never backed down, and continued to amaze the folks with his pure determination, power and speed.  Team STIHL not only wins the Gold Medal in Speed Retrieve, they do it in very convincing fashion. Tom and Remi, also competed in Big Air, Extreme Vertical, and Iron Dog. Along with the big Speed Retrieve win, came a 3rd place Extreme Vertical, and a 2nd place Iron Dog. "All in all, it was a very good event for Remi" says Tom. "He had a good rest over the break and was ready to get back at it". "We're looking forward to a very exciting 2012 season" says Tom.
