How in the world can a rabbit swim?
  Undecided

These furry little White Tails can tear up a bean field like there is no tomorrow. That we can understand. What our Non-Typical Labrador CAN’T understand is, How in the World Can the tear up a POND Too?   Undecided

Hmmmmm……….

Rocky’s out on his morning run and comes across his every day pond where the swimming pheasants usually hang out. And today was no different.

Yep, the good ole pond was to be no different today. There was plenty of Green Heads swimming in Rocky’s pond.   Shocked

Wait  . . .  Pheasants don’t have green heads.   Undecided

Hmmmm. . .  I guess that’s another story.  Wink

Anyway. . .

Rocky takes his usual action and takes after the Swimming pheasants. As usual they take to the skies leaving our Non-typical Labrador swimming, for what appears to be, nothing but a leisurely swim to cool off.  Cheesy

BUT. . . .

This time, something was a bit off. There was a KER-PLUNK.
Up goes the ears as Rocky starts a circular motion in the water.
He looks at me, and I look at him and we both shout out “WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?”

Then it happens again, another KER-PLUNK. . .
As if someone just threw a basketball in to the pond.

This went on for about 5 minutes until I finally figured it out.
It was Musk Rat.  At least that’s what I saw.   Undecided

Our Non-typical saw something completely different. He saw a swimming rabbit.
Not only did he see a swimming rabbit, it dove under that water and came up 20 some feet away from where it dove.

How in the world can a rabbit dive and come up 20 some feet away?  Shocked  Undecided

Hmmmmm. . . I guess that’s another story down Rocky’s Road.  Cheesy
