Imagine a go-cart track and 2 little go carts running back and forth with their drivers head sticking up. You're watching from a distance so that the rubber tires lining the track block your view of the go cart itself leaving the driver all that is visible. So all you see is this driver going back and forth.

Got that image?

K. . .

This morning we were fortunate to have 2 of our furry little Stink Bomb friends vist us on Rockys Road.

We were walking the bean field where, in the afternoon, the furry little Long Eared hoppers take over. This morning we were blessed with the Stink Bombs. Probably because it was so early and the are nocturnal.

As I leaned over, take of my boot to get this nasty twig out of there , Rocky started his "I'm a 100 lb Timberwolf" bark.

What do I see as I look up?

Still go that image in your head?

That's right, a little stink bomb with its tail erected as vertical as it can running up and down the bean field. Only the beans were blocking my view of the skunker so all I could see was the vertical tail.

This little guy, the skunk that is, was protecting something because he was goin' after Rocky.

I thought to myself, what the heck, I got time to give the Rockster a bath this morning so I gave him the "Get It" command.

Of course, Rocky being that Non-Typical Lab. decided he didn't want to get it this time.

What the?

So they danced for a minute and I said "C'mon Rock, lets go".

Then from the other end of the field comes another Go cart. Another stinker runnin' between the rows of beans with his tail vertical. All I could see was this tail scurrying Right towards us. Rocky saw the little fella and was now right in the middle of 2 little stinkers. And these guys were goin' after Rocky.

I think they were protecting little, little stinkers or something.

Quite the seen watching these 2 little tails scurrying around in the been field. Reminded me of the go carts.

Never a dull moment.
