Rocky (we’ll call him Rocky-da-mutt in this story) had quite the run in with a Raccoon (who we’ll call Rocky Raccoon in this story) on Rocky’s Road today.

Reminded me of the Beatles song “Rocky Raccoon
Here's a refresher: http://www.goear.com/listen.php?v=c135d13

So I did a little research on the lyrics and low and behold, this is what I found. I think you’ll enjoy it.

Now somewhere in the long stemmed cattails of New Prague
There lived a young boy named Rocky Raccoon
And one day his woman ran off with another guy
Hit young Rocky in the eye, Rocky didn’t like that
He said I’m gonna get that boy
So one day he waddled into New Prague
Booked himself a Ledge on a local tree branch.

Rocky Raccoon climbed up on his branch
Only to find gideons bible
Rocky had come equipped with some gum
To stick on the legs of his rival
His rival it seems had broken his dreams
By stealing the girl of his fancy
Her name was magil and she called herself lil
But everyone knew her as Nancy

Now she and her man who called himself Rocky-da-mutt
Were on the next branch at the cattails
Rocky spit in the wind and grinning a grin
He said Rocky-da-mutt this is a showdown
But Rocky-da-mutt was hot - he pounced on the spot
And Rocky collapsed in the corner

Now Dorpike came in stinking of gin
And proceeded to lie on the ground
He said Rocky you met your match
And Rocky said, Dorpike its only a scratch
And Ill be better, Ill be better Dorpike as soon as I am able

Now Rocky Raccoon he fell back on this branch
Only to find gideons bible
Gideon checked out and he left it no doubt
To help with good Rockys revival
